SYNOPSIS
Reports whether a string is a valid LDAP filter.
SYNTAX
Test-R1LdapFilter [-ldapFilter] <String> [<CommonParameters>]
DESCRIPTION
Asks the server to parse the given string as an LDAP filter, and returns whether it is valid.
EXAMPLES
Example 1
Test-R1LdapFilter -ldapFilter '(objectClass=*)'
Returns true, the filter being valid.
Example 2
Test-R1LdapFilter -ldapFilter '(objectClass=' -Verbose
Returns false, and writes the reason the filter was rejected to the verbose stream.
