Get-R1NamingContextContentRdnAttribute

SYNOPSIS

Returns the attributes available to the RDN of a content node.

SYNTAX

Get-R1NamingContextContentRdnAttribute [-dn] <String> [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

Returns the attributes of the object behind a content or container node which can be used to build its RDN, each with the name it is mapped to.

EXAMPLES

Example 1

Get-R1NamingContextContentRdnAttribute -dn 'uid,ou=hr,o=views'

Returns the columns the RDN of a content node can be built from, each named as table and column, for example APP.EMPLOYEES.FIRSTNAME, with the attribute it is mapped to.

Example 2

$Names = (Get-R1NamingContextContentRdnAttribute -dn 'uid,ou=hr,o=views' | Where-Object mappedName -In 'FIRSTNAME', 'LASTNAME').name
Set-R1NamingContextContentProperty -dn 'uid,ou=hr,o=views' -rdnValues $Names

Builds the RDN of each entry from the first and last name columns.
